WebyMon informs you about the speed of a web page based on the time it takes for our servers to download its HTML document.
You can learn about a monitored web page’s speed if you click on its URL and select the Page Speed tab.
You can find three different values there. These metrics inform you about the longest, the shortest and the average response time of the page in a selected period.
Besides HTML files, the browsers may use several other file types, like CSS, JS or JPEG files in order to display the contents of a website to their users.
We don’t measure the download speed of these additional elements as doing so might put a burden on your website’s server.
Therefore in some cases it could take longer for a web page to completely download to your visitors’ devices than what its page speed values indicate.
